“My wife Cathy & I first met Evan Molloy from EM Building back in 2013 when he was the foreman/sub-contractor on the construction of a garage at our 1920’s Californian bungalow in Northbridge. During the construction of the garage, the builder who was the head contractor decided to move back to New Zealand for personal reasons, leaving Evan to run the entire job, liaising with us the clients, organising trades and materials etc. The job ran very smoothly, and the quality of the work was excellent.
Over the next few years we stayed in contact with Evan as we were planning a much larger project on the same property, which included demolishing a 1980’s addition and building a large extension on the back of the existing house. The project was quite difficult as we needed to marry the old restored front of the house with a new architecturally designed contemporary extension. Evan successfully quoted the project, which kicked off in January 2016. Under Evan’s management the project came in on budget and within the tight six-month time schedule. The communication between Evan and us was honest, clear and hassle free.
However, with all building projects the real test is in the finished product which I am very pleased to say is outstanding due to the quality workmanship by Evan and his team. We have continued to use them on other smaller projects since then and are more than happy to highly recommend EM Building for all the reasons mentioned above.”
